Welcome to Hapjan Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences

Hapjan Institute of Nursing & Paramedical Sciences is located in Chotahapjan, Makum in Tinsukia District. It is placed at a distance of 525km east from Guwahati, the capital of Assam and 9 kms from Tinsukia Medical College, Makum. The Institution is on the NH37 towards Arunachal Pradesh and is surrounded by lush greenery of tea gardens on all its sides.

Started in the year 2022 April with courses for Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (A.N.M) and General Nurse Midwifery (G.N.M.) approved by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam. Both the courses are under the State Assam Nursing Council.

HINAPS intents to be a premier Institution offering courses in Diploma, Degree and Post Graduate in Nursing along with other courses in Paramedical Sciences.

HINAPS is under the Pinewood Foundation Trust, started by the visionary Dr. Hari Narayan Borkataky, a renowned Gynaecologist of Assam with an experience of over 50 years. The Pinewood Hospital, established in 1986 being the first organization of Pinewood Group and the Pinewood Residential School established in the year 1999, before Hapjan Institute of Nursing & Paramedical Sciences was conceived in the year 2019 during the Covid Crisis.

Everyday at the Institution is like a blessing with the active students and talented staff members around.
